1988 Ford Bronco

For 1988 Bronco edition, the 5.8 liter V-8 has been changed to fuel injection
from carburetion and the whole engine became fuel injected. All engines present
in the said vehicle are set with serpentine belt. The 4.9 liter is still standard
with the 5 and the 5.8 liter V-8s became optional. The transfer case skid plate
was also made standard. The four wheel drive Bronco for this year is assembled
on a 104.7 inch wheelbase and its length is 180.5 inches overall. It is spacious
and has big room for storing luggage.
The wide seats are covered with cloth and are relaxing and comfortable to sit
in. The 5.8 is impressive but it is also thirsty when it operates. It has an EPA
rating of 12 m.p.g. city/ 14 m.p.g. highway and the tank has 32 galloons. The
?98 version has the will and the capacity to negotiate with a rough or slippery
terrain but it has questionable fuel efficiency.
